Mr and Mrs Sidney Drew

“When Two Hearts are Won”. 25 min. F.s. 2 shows. This is a very clever little sketch and presented with all the humor and spirit it deserves. The story is that of a bride more in love with her dog than her husband, and given to paroxysms of temper. On advice of her uncle, her meek husband turns tables on her after the manner of Portuccio. There are many clever lines, and the finish, with the furniture smashing and the final relinquishment of the dog in favor of the husband, is very humorous and brought a good laugh from all parts of the house. Do not think this will bring very strong box patronage, at la Hilliard, but will hold its own with the general public for Drew has a multitude of [???] here.
