Sketch, “When the Earthquake came.” Very timely and in spots brilliantly written sketch of San Francisco disaster, occupying 18 min. F.S. 2 shows. The patros is strong, but at times it is a little drawn out in agony. These was some comedy and also some heroic lines that brought laughter and applause in spots, but the sketch is serious—perhaps a little too much so without relief. It held the attention closely however. Miss Dupree received some advance applause, and a good hand at the close.
