Maude Lillian Berri and Her Scotch Laddies

"Cupid in Kilts" is produced by Gus Sohlke. Miss Berri sings a few numbers, all tuneful. Aided by the American Quartet, she is the foundation of this miniature musical comedy. It opens in a Japanese setting in a rickshaw, giving Berri time to sing two songs. Then a ship front-cloth is shown. Bruce Cameron does a few dances which were well received. The next scene is the main one. In a room in the house of a Scotch Laird the American Quartet become busy and sing a couple of numbers in close harmony style. Cameron showcases a few more steps and a sword dance. Berri appears in a kilt, making a pretty picture as a Scotch Lassie.
There is a point to the production, but it does not matter much. The musical numbers carry it forward,
