24 min. Offering an act called ‘Dreamland’ for the first time here and scored a big hit with it in next-to-closing position. Matthews appears in his usual ‘dope’ character and Shayne handles the comedy in a character role in a way that keeps the laughs going at a rapid pace. Matthews also scored well with an individual song number and the singing at the close took them off to applause which lasted through several bows.
