Martini has a pleasantly well modulated voice, and talks evenly to good effect.
The comedy works well, being the happy possessor of what must be a cast-iron jaw, for that portion of his face is slapped hard and often by Martini to many laughs. For an encore some simple tricks in magic are done, among them being one which Mr. Martini explained at some length, but which Jules Larvette, who opens the show, featured as his “one best bet.”
In the small Pastor Theatre the pair were on top of the audience and became effective in their endeavors for this reason mostly.
