16 min. This was Lipinski’s opening in America. The act is on the order of Barnhold’s and Derkin’s. It could follow either one, however, as Lipinski has twice as many dogs, they are better trained, and scenically it far surpasses either and he introduces novel electrical effects. Received with much favor this afternoon following a late show with the crowd very much excited over the baseball reports. The only adverse criticism, if possible, would be that it is slow in spots. This is due, however, to the fact that it is their first show since they came off the ship and to my mind will be the best act of its kind we have ever played. Too good an act to close a show and will be a feature on any bill no matter how big.
