Placing "No. 4," Lloyd scored easily with his comedy songs. He starts with a "rag" and follows with a few character numbers. He does a "chorus girl," Italian and Scotch burlesque. He uses simple props to dress the characters. He is assisted by Jay Roberts on the piano. All of the numbers are light and breezy with just enough laughs.
Monday Mr. Lloyd could have given another song, as the audience would not stop its noise until the lights went out twice for another act. The Westerner wisely left them, after easily establishing himself as a successful starter in New York.
