“A Quiet Life.” 20 min. F.S. 2 shows. This is an English sketch formerly called “A Happy Pair” and has been widely played by amateurs. It contains many bright lines. The action tells of a happy pair who fall to quarrelling over trifles, and then making up. Miss Ring is a very pretty woman and an accomplished actress. The sketch held the attention of the audience very well and there was a little scattered applause. She received quite a good hand, and the finish was strong enough to justify this place on the bill.
