The skit, written by Charles McCarren, received generous applause from the audience.
The girls were well worth going to see, even if there had been no other attractions. Being some of the prettiest girls to grace the Lyric's stage, Jimmie sang and danced well while Minnie gave impersonations of "wild, wild vamps."
