Hugh Stanton (& Modena)

“For Reform”: 18 min. F.S. 2 shows. This is one of the best written sketches in Vaudeville. Stanton might have squeezed a little more humor out of it, but he is not spontaneously funny. The laughs were more of a tribute to the clever lines than to his rendition of them. However, held the interest throughout. Finish was fairly strong. Climax should bite a little deeper for so good a sketch.
