"The Lovemakers" play here this week under last season's name for Sam Howe's show, "The Rialto Rounders." Now that Bob Scott is working with Howe again, their superior comedy talent is evident. Their methods never become tedious and through a series of original maneuvers they keep the laughter bubbling almost continuously.
"Howe's first spoken word is 'hell' but thereafter he avoids such 'sure fire' and works his way to laughter without descending to the level of 'comedians' who try to cover their lack of ability under a cloak of obscenity." The German comedian, Scott, is tidy in dress, careful in speech and action and secures many laughs.
