Harry Brown and Co.

The sketch is a revival of one of the late Richard Golden's old vehicles.
Brown plays an old village lawyer who has brought up the daughter of an old friend. An old farmer who has lost a daughter of his own is kind to the girl, but his wife becomes jealous and appeals for a divorce. In the end the farmer and his wife adopt the girl.
Brown fits nicely into the leading role and his support is equal to the demands. Brown has succeeded in adopting some of Golden's mannerisms. It is a good sketch with heart interest. It holds its own without the aid of a stellar name.
