"Oscar's Birthday" proved to be as good as his previous acts, such as "Charley's Aunt" and "Trilby." He is accompanied by a company of four individuals, including Miss Lizzie Annandale who used to head her own opera company. The scene is set in a country house at Rye.
The skilled and versatile actor and his company put on an excellent and clever sketch.
