Fred Wright, Jr. assisted by Claudia Clark

Frederick Wright was imported from England by Charles Frohman for the "Our Miss Gibbs" Production. The show fell down; hopefully Mr. Wright's vaudeville career does not do the same. Unfortunately, Wright must follow Bert Clark's act. Clark is too strong a comedian and loved by the audience.
Wright does five numbers.
The house received the offering cooly and with indifference.
Had Wright been saddled with the proper music he would have been successful as he knows how to deliver a number. His current songs are old in both melody and lyric. Only two are exceptions and have probably been taken from shows within which Wright has performed. Wright is an excellent dancer but he does not showcase this well. Claudia Clark is a good looking girl with a pretty voice. Her presence helps Wright's act. If he desires to stay in vaudeville he must improve his act.
