The foreign combination includes three women and two men. They play a few selections on the brasses before doing their main work on the xylophones.
The quintet looked alright and played well, but their selections were all wrong. The two heavy brass selections are all wrong for vaudeville. The march got them something, and of course the American flags, "Dixie" and "Star, Spangled Banner" could hardly be anything but applause getters. If they had a little better judgement, they would not need the patriotic stuff.
