In his race track drama entitled, “Jockey Jones” or “The Day of the Handicap”. The scene is laid in a hospital and the sketch is of a melodramatic nature. There are four people in the cast and they are all good and the play is nicely done. The audience here didn’t enthuse over it very much, due to the fact no doubt that the people here are not very familiar with the race track terms. I believe the sketch will be better received in the east than here, however it’s a good act though nothing great. I have seen other that I prefer. 22 minutes, full stage.
