The best thing miss Carus does is a rousing patriotic song by which she concludes her act.
Emma Carus worked hard for a scattering of applause and some people were distinctly bored by Larry Comer's best joke. The crowd did not warm up for anyone on the bill.
Carus and Comer have a rollicking patter and their songs are clever.
