“A Bachelor’s Dream”: 29 min, F.S. 2 shows. This is a clever sketch, full of comical situations. Miss Edouin plays five parts. The bachelor is supposed to go to sleep and dream that he married five wives in various parts of the world and as they all turn up one after another, he is at a loss to know how to dispose of them. The changes by Miss Edouin are quickly done. Whereas there is nothing distinctive to give the illusion of many characters, such as Courtleigh, nevertheless there is plenty of humor and many surprises in the act. Edwards as the bachelor, is genuinely funny, and they make an excellent comedy team. I think this act will hold this place with the evening audiences, even stronger than the afternoon.
