The sketch entitled “The Elopement” was twelve minutes long.
Miss Woolridge plays Mrs. James Montague, a woman who intends to divorce her husband to elope with her lover (played by Arvid Paulson). Her brother (played by H. G. Keenan) finds out and tells her husband. When the husband announces he is actually happy with the match and plans to vacation with another woman, his wife gets jealous and calls off the elopement.
Miss Woolridge and Mr. Keenan are excellent actors and made a "fine impression." Once the "roughness" of the sketch is eliminated, it will be a big success.
