German Comedians. 15 min. in 1. 3 shows. A quarter-hour of absolutely the worst imitation of near-wit imaginable, and I don’t see how they can sleep nights after taking the money. They got the fewest laughs and the poorest closing hand of any team I ever saw on this stage. Ten years ago they would have been fourth-raters. Their rating now is beyond my power of computation. By actual count, sixteen people paid them the compliment of getting up and leaving the show during their act.
