Soprano: Miss Shepard was obliged to appear this afternoon in her street clothes and without any make-up, as her trunk had not arrived. She has a very pleasing soprano voice, but did not go nearly as well as Miss George did week before last. There is no gain-saying the fact that she is a fine singer, but I think that she was better received in Boston and Providence from the fact that she is thoroughly well known in that section of the country. 10 minutes in one.
