The act was nineteen minutes long. The trio sings around a comedy sketch structure. The background is a steamer ready to sail with the gangplank lowered. One of the men plays a “cissy” purser and the others are a sailor and a bum. They talk and strive for comedy before they begin the singing portion. They then sing a few comedic songs.
"The trio on the Roof were a big hit; will continue so all over the time."
The talk at the beginning and the Cissy character should be dropped, which would cut the act down to about fifteen minutes.
