Dancing and a male impersonation.
Singing and comic dialogue.
"Piney Ridge."
For the opening a girl does a nice male impersonation, with well fitting clothes. Her partner sings "Piney Ridge," an excellent song. After two or three other numbers a bit of talk is used, with the "whose-it" line being all wrong. The real work consists of the dancing finish, well done, and deserving all the applause given it. It is about the only lively thing in the act. A youthful couple in a two-act should think of little else than liveliness. That would be the greatest asset Brown and Bristol could acquire.
