The banjoist opened with a march, "The Competitor," but did not receive the applause he deserved. He followed with "Old Kentucky" which was capitally rendered and thoroughly enjoyed. He attempted to give the sounds of two instruments at the same time, succeeding admirably. He closes with a lively "rag."
He would do well to improve his dress but should find plenty of work in the "pop" houses.
