The playlet is "distinctly pro-German", featuring a German-American newlywed couple. "The wife is thoroughly Americanized, but her sympathy for the Fatherland is ever apparent".
"The Hyphen" by Ethel Clifton.
It scored a substantial hit at the Harlem, and should do very well for German audiences.
It's a vehicle of good substance, and well-played.
