Sang three or four songs that were in his act and then had a man out back to ask him for others. With "Everybody Works but Father" he had father working too. Had no new monolouge material but that didn't seem to matter.
The audience sang, whistled and stameped their feet.
"Seemed to have an idea that he was a one-man show, but he remembered a supper datein time to let the rest of us get across the street too."
