Gallagher & Shean's show is a mixture of last season's "Banner Show" and a few new bits. The plot is once again about a French adventuress (Senorita Rosita Mantillia) and her phony Count lover (Jos. Milton). Others in the act include Mike McDonald, Milton Francis and the Healy Sisters, and Blanche Baird.
The show in its present condition could not stand up but for Gallagher and Shean. As for looks and appearance, the sixteen chorus girls are not there. Perhaps a lack of rehearsals or shyness of talent held back the principals. Miss Mantillia redeemed herself in the olio. During the olio, Ed Gallagher proved his worth and class in "The Battle of Too Soon."
