Besnah & Miller

Took the place of Melville & Stetson on the bill. 16 min. in 1. 2 shows. Men and woman in signing, talking, and dancing act. The talking was the least creditable feature of the act, and the dancing by far the best, in fact, the man’s work is some of the swiftest and most artistic dancing I have seen. Woman makes fair presentations, although a little too heavy and inclined to be a little reckless in speech and behavior. She has a good voice and her songs got a fair hand. The strong part of the act is the dancing duo, which won immensely. All told, it may be said that these people held down a very hard place acceptably.
