Bert Fitzgibbons

Coming from a “three act,” the single has Bert as a combination of Harry Breen, Frank Tinney and himself. He opens with a lot of nonsensical song patter with a lot of didoes and facial “faces.” A hit was also registered with his own composition, "Gee Whiz! What a Funny Little World This Is."
The joke cracking with Fred Hylands, the Academy musical director, received much applause. However, this act is simply a duplicate of Tinney, the blackface comedian’s act.
His “crazy stuff” gets over, but it is simply a copy of Tinney’s work. Fitzgibbons’ parodies are a hot themselves. Too bad his entire act was not clean all the way.
