Al Lydell, the quaintest old man on the stage, supported by Carleton Macey, playing an old sailor, and an unprogramed woman, started nice and quietly, but got buzzing with Lydell's entrance, and after that the pluperfect character comedian convulsed the house to the end. His dancing was accepted as an immense pleasure. The end of the act is weak, tapering off instead of topping all with a bang. It is a very simple walk-off. But the house did not forget, and the clatter was triumphant.
