Singing and talking, finishing with the scarecrow girl. An act a little out of the ordinary, went very well. 20 min. in one.
Whirlwind dancers, 8 min. full stage. Went very good.
Character comedian, went very big, one of the hits of the bill. 20 min. in one and a half.
In the fantasy, “Winning a Queen.” Went very big. 18 min. in three. Hit of the bill.
(First part). 20 min. collecting questions, tying hands, ringing bells, etc. Interesting and held the audience very well.
(Second part). Demonstrations of Thaumaturgy, answering questions collected in first part, introducing a lot of comedy in some of her answers; held her audience very closely and has already caused considerable talk around. I look to do a big week with her. 21 min. full stage, own drop.
“Going to Dahomey”, colored act with own drop, a good singing act, was received very well. 17 min. in one.
Pool expert. This man dos some wonderful work and I think will attract business because of the novelty of the act. At present the act lack that element known as “showmanship”. If he had as bright a man with him as Griffith has, the act could be made a great big feature. 23 Min. F.S.
At the first show, Stuart had a hard time of it, second to last in a very late show, altho [sic] he got plenty of applause. In this spot, he will no doubt be a hit. 17 Min. Open in 2, close in One.
In “Wanted—A Sister.” A good lively comedy sketch, which got plenty of laughs. Considering all that Mr. Young does to help business, with his Shakespearean lectures at the schools, he is excellent value. 25 Min. F.S.
Blackface comedians. An act that I do not care for and only goes well at the finish. 13 Min. in One.
