Godfrey & Henderson

Man and woman presenting a sketch entitled ‘A Daughter of the Gods.’ Neither Mr. Godfrey or Miss Henderson can act. The sketch is one of those dream affairs so often met with in vaudeville. There are some bright lines and some long passages. There are a great many better sketches and better players in vaudeville, and a few who are worse. 23 min, FS.

The Three Keatons

While I cannot see this act even with binoculars the people who pay their money appear to enjoy every minute of it. Of course Buster is the act and without him it would not be worth 15 cents. At the opening performance they held the stage 30 minutes but the manager made them out 10 minutes off it at the night performance.

Victor Moore and Emma Littlefield

These people went very strong here in their act “Change Your Act or Back to the Woods.” They were strongly supported by our stock comedians. 23 min. F.S. Close in one.

Miss Flora Adler

Miss Adler is an excellent singer and made a big hit with our audiences. She is assisted by a boy who sings from one of the upper boxes. 11 in one.

Carson and Willard

German burlesque comedians who offer the old Roger Bros. act and succeed very well in extracting laughs from the audiences. 16 in one.

Kinetograph

The kinetograph pictures of “The Great Train Robbery” were another big hit, scoring quite as heavily as on their first presentation here.

The Marvelous Merrills

This act was accorded on ovation. The bicycle riding of the Merrills is not far short of the riding of the Kauffman troupe while the comedy of one of them is mirth-provoking, and was enjoyed by the boxes as well as the gallery. 16 min. F.S.

Ernest Hogan

This unbleached American did not go as well with the audience as expected. Perhaps this can be accounted for because he was away down on a fine bill. He has a habit of exposing a large portion of his tongue in one of his songs which I think detracts very much from his act. 14 min. in one.

John and Bertha Gleason and Fred Houlihan

This act was another tremendous hit with the audience and was encored again and again as was the act that preceded it. Houlihan is a master of the pianoforte, Bertha Gleason is a magnificent dancer as is John Gleason, and the Gleason’s besides sing entertainingly. 17 min. F.S.

Frederick Brothers and Burns

This trio of musicians scored heavily with the audience. The music is not only excellent but the comedy is bright and altogether enjoyable. 22 min. F.S. Close in one.
