Presenting, his illusions, his protean act, his impersonation and ‘The Lions Bride.’ Personally I think this man is the biggest four-flush in the business, but I cannot get away from the fact that he pleases the audiences as he was applauded for a full five minutes after his impersonations act. Sound, color, light and life constitute Lafayette and the public appear to like it. First two acts 32 min. Last act 18 min.
This famous woman presented several impersonations of famous stage celebrities, and sang three songs. She was very nervous at the opening matinee but the evening performance she finished strong. There is no question as to her drawing powers and there is no question as to her pleasing the better element of our audience.
This comedy acrobatic act is always good, particularly the acrobatic work of Harry Smirl which is unexcelled in Vaudeville. 15 min. F. S. Can close in one.
John and Natalie present a musical novelty consisting of hurdy-gurdy, violin and songs. While there is little of artistic value in the act it is the kind of an act that always gets by in good shape. 16 min. In one.
Received three curtain calls after her vocal efforts and violin solos. She has considerable magnetism, a good voice and handles the violin like a kubelic. 10 min. In one.
Is a genuine moki Indian. He has a monologue descriptive of his race. He does some simple feats of magic, and is withal interesting and novel. He held the stage for 26 min at the first show but will be cut down to about 18. He can finish in one.
Proved to be an excellent act in every particular. The song numbers were very good, the men well dressed and the comedy clean and refreshing. In fact the act could hardly be improved upon. 27 min. F.S.
Presents a very good comedy pantomime act and were one of the hits of the bill. 15 min. F.S. 5 min. in one.
Went as strong as on her first appearance a year ago. She has added a recitation and a baby song to her act neither of which improves it. Her hits were “Lolita” and “Little Dolly Dimples.” 15 min. in one
Was one of the big hits of the bill. His best song is the old one “St. Patrick’s day is a bad day for Coons.” He received three curtain calls at both the afternoon and night performances. 16 min. In one.
