Eckhoff & Gordon

Musical laugh-makers. This act went fairly well all the way through and the finish was moderately strong. Not a distinct hit but got by nicely. 15 minutes, palace in 5.

Ryan & Fritz

A wonderful pair of dancers, who gained attention the minute they entered and like a whirlwind all the way through. A really great dancing act. 8 minutes, street in one.

Rayno’s Bull Dogs

A most notorious dog act in which a great number of novel and entertaining feats are introduced, all of which made a distinct hit, the act throughout being very successful and finishing very strong. 10 minutes, garden in 5.

Nat Wills

The same tramp comedian as of yore. A liberal allotment of his old stuff was given and a fairly good sprinkling of new. There was a slight demonstration upon his entrance but he didn’t wake them up for a little while. Finally he got them going his way in good shape and it was then a pretty easy matter for him to handle the house as he pleased. The finish was fairly strong, but I believe the act was well liked. 28 minutes, street in 1.

The Eight Berlin Madcaps

Their dancing was moderately well received throughout the act. They were hardly a distinct hit yet the act got by very nicely and apparently had no trouble holding the attention of the audience. Finished pretty strong. 9 minutes, garden in 4.

Barry & Wolford

In a comedy skit, “It Happened on Monday”. They introduced quite a bit of their old material and considerable new all of which went well. The act made good in every respect. 17 minutes, special in 1 ½.

Thorns & Carleton

Man and woman in a comedy sketch, “The Soubrette and the Yap”. This act held the audience all the way through and gained a number of laughs. Not a great big hit but thoroughly satisfactory. 18 minutes, C.D.F.

Bedini & Arthur

They were an emphatic hit all the way through and made a most excellent impression. The laughs were hearty and sincere, and the legitimate juggling provoked genuine applause. This act also gave us a little time in 1. 17 minutes, wood in 4, close in 1.

Burns & Fulton

Young man and woman in a novelty and acrobatic dancing act with just a little bit of singing. A hard spot for them, notwithstanding which they pleased very well all the way through. There was scattered applause throughout and they finished quite strong. They gave a little time in one. which I believe handicapped them to some extent. 14 minutes, palace in 4, close in 1.

The Flying Banvards

Four men and two women in what proved to be a very entertaining casting act. The tableau provided for the opening of the act was given a good reception upon the rise of the curtain. The various tricks throughout the act were roundly applauded and the finish was moderately strong. While nothing great was introduced the work is very acceptable and the performers must be given credit with presenting a very artistic and decidedly clean appearance. The aspect of the performers and the act were enough in themselves to give the act quite a degree of “cleanliness”. Made a very good closing set and I believe it will prove entirely satisfactory in every way. 11 minutes, special set in 4.
