Dancing and posing.
Singing and an impression.
The finish, which almost amounted to the pulling of the American flag, got the usual kind of applause from the audience, although the lyric used to the air of "Tipperary" does not fit the melody and is a repeat from an earlier portion of the turn.
Al Burton's Revue, in which Burton does all the work and the girl does the posing and a bit of dancing, got over big on the man's singing. He has an idea worth while in the act. The Lauder imitation could be improved.
