"Below the Deadline" - Although the boys have not deviated their style, there is a sense of newness to the production. George McKay plays the copper while John Cantwell continues his role as the pickpocket. There is also a third character, played by Reta Walker, in the guise of a chorus girl. At one point Cantwell is a Hebrew peddler and McKay is a "souse" in evening clothes. He renders a song in his robust voice as well. Cantwell as an Italian woman has a burlesque on the present dance craze with McKay.
"The Manicure Dance" makes a corking finish and they are both excellent dancers.
