Eddie Redway and Georgie Lawrence perform some comedy and singing. Miss Lawrence's good looks, pleasant manner and enjoyable style of handling dialogue capture her honors. The story line seems to be jointed together from one or two other vaudeville sketches, namely "3 A.M.," but only slightly. The scene is set in a street. Lawrence is an actress and Redway is a "Johnny." They both live in the same apartment and are kept out at two in the morning because a mischievous lad hung up a "Measles" sign on the doorknob, while the Janitor was out "chasing the duck."
Redway's early song, "We'll Go Home," does not fit in the spot, nor is it anything worth while. Their duet, "Maybe," did not get the recognition it deserved. "(Excuse the audience at the City; they are never certain)." The janitor should have been used in the comedy. The act needs a bit of livening up, a trifle more action and a reduction in time (twenty minutes is too long).
