Julius Lenzberg and his Colonial (theatre) orchestra have finally been recognized as an "act," the same value that a band would be upon stage. Lenzberg has discovered the solution to the great problem of the "intermission"; there is merely a slight wait now. Arias from "The Spring Maid" are played. The orchestra is forced to oblige an encore, playing "The Polka Rag," which was applauded sufficiently to be repeated.
The spot light entirely overlooked the drummer during the rag. Lenzberg should give the audience a few more flashes of him as he certainly deserves recognition. Lenzberg's only competition is Jimmy Sayles.
