Suffragette sketch. A man’s wife joins a housewives’ union and he orders a strikebreaker who happens to be female.
Dialogue.
"Suffragette sketches" flourished a few years ago, but there still would be room for this one if acted a little better. The idea is a good one, with many corking comedy moments, but at times the company let it down to an ordinary talky affair. At present the sketch could be featured on the small time, though with the right cast it would have a good chance on the big time.
