Edward Abeles and Co.

The sketch begins with Mr. Abeles impatiently waiting for breakfast. While waiting he decides to read and comes across the advice of Fanny Free to married men. He decides to follow Fanny's tips. His wife, played by Miss Lander, is unaccustomed to the attention her husband is now giving her. She becomes suspicious and a fight ensues.
The act is very different from Abeles' last work. The theme is not new, nor is it very bright. Neither Abeles or Lander glisten in their roles. While there are a few funny lines, the piece drags on too long. It should be cut by six or seven minutes. Even so, it is not a suitable act for Abeles or for the position it was given (closing the first half).
