Miss Ritchie is doing herself proud now. The present is by far the best specialty she has ever shown. Miss Ritchie has selected a corking repertoire and is displaying a voice that few would recognize as the same she had on her last appearance.
Miss Ritchie in her present frame up and manner of working can be compared with Ada Reeve, the big English Music Hall star.
The one blot in Miss Ritchie's act is the chewing gum advertisement. The music is bully and it is quite too bad for the writers as well as for the singer that so good a melody has been held so cheaply by both.
