Three live horses race onstage.
"Futurity Winner."
Of course everybody wants to know how the race will end and so when three fine horses appear, real horses, mark you, and dash madly over the course, the audience moves out to the end of their seats and watches eagerly for the finish.
Joseph Hart's company in "Futurity Winner" present a splendid bit of melodrama that is greatly appreciated. Far from being commonplace, the play is at times exciting, even thrilling and at no period does the interest lag.
