Ma Gosse presents "Apache Dance" as a girl of the Apache band. Unlike other "Apaches" "Ma Gosse" is not in pantomime but rather a story concluding with what is or was supposed to be a novelty finale. They sing, talk, fight and dance.
New Yorkers did not rave over the first, and will not grow excited over the last.
Miss Edne Mollon makes what to us seems a real grisette. In the dance she has a couple of little tricks which might be termed objectionable if they were not intended for the "startling sensation" the American programmer wanted them to be.
"Ma Gosse" is not sensational at all for New York as an "Apache" over here is just an "Apache," nothing more. It was hardly worth the importation for the the apparent salary required.
