The act was eighteen minutes long. Venita opens with a song and proceeds to impersonate other vaudevillians such as Anna Held, Sam Bernard, Bert Williams, Trentini, Nazimova, Geo. M. Cohan, and George Walker.
"Bon Bon Buddy"
Since the audience at the Columbia is familiar with all of the acts she impersonated, they applauded each.
She did both Williams' and Walker's numbers well, but she did not fare as well with the others. "As an impersonator of colored folks Miss Gould may pass." Her impersonation of Sam Bernard's dialect was comedic though. It is a little too late for a straight impersonation act to attempt comedy, but Venita may be able to continue to do it.
