Miss Aker uses eight dummies in a country railroad station setting. She does some comedic voice deception bits throughout.
There is some confusion as to why the act is billed as "Nan Aker and Co." when Aker does all of the stage work herself. It could either refer to an offstage helper or the dummies themselves. "The act is an excellent novelty for the 'pop' circuits."
