Imperial Opera Company

Date:
20 minutes, 3 scenes, 9 people & conducter [sic]. They offer a diversified program of selections from the better known operas, in voices of quite good quality. The scenic effects and costuming in notably attractive. One serious handicap under which both they and we are obliged to work is, that the music is arranged for a greatly augmented orchestra, and it is of course difficult to do justice to the offering and all it contains with an orchestra of but four members. The act was very well received at ever performance.
