This sketch entitled “At the Flower Stand” was seventeen minutes long.
Dorothy Brenner and Joseph Ratliff sing, dance, and do some comedy. Ratliff is the straight.
Brenner's singing and dancing ability pleased the crowd and saved the act.
The couple is talented, but the act needs work. It is too disjointed; Brenner and Ratliff run on and off the stage too much. Brenner is a pretty blonde with talent and she can hold the stage on her own. Ratliff, however, does not do as well on his own. His single numbers slow the act down. The talent of the two together and their fresh faces should carry the act for a while, but it needs to be changed.
