30 min. in one. Miss Tanguay was in fine spirits today and certainly gave a ripping good performance to a big house which had come to welcome her. She sang six songs, each one seeming to be better received than its forerunner. The songs are admirable in themselves, and are perfectly suited to her individual talents. The song called “Money” is a gem, and her tossing new pennies into the audience during the chorus was quite a sensation. Whether it was a song, a dance or a recitation, the applause was immense from all parts of the house, and her encore, “I Don’t Care,” closed her act with unbounded enthusiasm. Miss Tanguay is certainly better than ever, which saying everything flattering of this rare artiste and popular favorite.
