The act was sixteen minutes long.
James Britt is a former lightweight champion of the world, turned vaudevillian. He tells a few stories in dialect and finishes with a short recitation. He is clean-cut and good-looking, and can speak as well as any monologist.
The audience must have recognized his name, because they gave him a loud welcome. The cheers at the end verged on the tumultuous and a "carload" of flowers were passed over the footlights.
Jimmie Britt's talent would make him a vaudeville regular, even without his famous name.
