This dramatic sketch entitled “The Still Voice” was twenty-three minutes long.
Sidney Drew plays the leading role in this sketch written by Geo. Cameron (Mrs. Sidney Drew). A voice is heard throughout, but the speaker is offstage throughout the piece.
"At the Fifth Avenue Monday night it was so well received even Drew seemed surprised at the hearty applause."
The ending is "unpleasant and grewsome [sic]", but Drew's acting held the houses's attention throughout. The company is sure to score a hit with this sketch on the big vaudeville circuit.
